Educational Award Application


2025 Award Application Checklist

1. Confirm that your school's PAC is an active member (check here).

2. If the PAC is not an active member, encourage them to submit their membership form and payment before the award application deadline to ensure your application is eligible for consideration.

3. Complete the form below and attach the following five (5) items as a single PDF file (maximum file size 5MB):

  • A cover letter outlining good citizenship, leadership, sportsmanship and community service interests
  • One letter of reference from an educator
  • One letter of reference from a community member/organization
  • A 300-500 word essay on the value of parent involvement in education (with reference to the role of PACs, DPACs and/or BCCPAC)
  • DO NOT submit a Transcript of Grades as grades are not evaluated in the selection criteria
  • Graduation Progress Summary (available through the student’s MyEducation BC portal):
    • Log in to MyEducation BC (your school can provide your login information)
    • Navigate to My Info
    • Select Transcript
    • Select Graduation Summary
    • Click on Printer Friendly Version
    • Check box: Hide courses counted by another requirement
    • Save as PDF (ensure summary shows all courses “completed” and “in progress”)

Application must be submitted online by March 31, 2025. Late submissions are not accepted.
