Nominations are now open to the Board of Directors for the AGM elections. We look forward to seeing members at this year's Parent Leadership Conference and AGM, held on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lheidli T'enneh Nation and online. The 2025 Conference & AGM will be held in a hybrid format, with the in-person event at the University of Northern BC in Prince George May 23-25, and virtual participation available through an online platform.   • Are committed to children’s educational success, health and well-being through strong family and community engagement.

We encourage our members to put forward nominees who bring these perspectives to the table, strengthening our collective voice and impact. The BCCPAC Board is a team of hard-working individuals committed to advocating and creating positive change for members across the province.

Nominations are open to regular members in good standing per Sections 5.5 - 5.8 of our Bylaws, until March 31, 2025.

Elections for the following Board positions will take place during the AGM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the University of Northern BC in Prince George and online:

1. Review 2025 Information for Board Nominees

Before applying, all prospective candidates should thoroughly review the 2025 Information for Board Nominees document. This document outlines the Board’s responsibilities, qualifications and expectations, providing essential insight into the role.

3. Submit a Complete Nomination Package Early

We strongly encourage nominees to submit their completed Nomination Package early to allow time for any corrections if something is missing. Late information cannot be accepted, so submitting early ensures our team can help address any issues before the deadline.

4. Nomination Vetting

The Nominations Committee will vet nominees to ensure they meet eligibility requirements as outlined in Policy 2590 Nominations. Eligible candidates’ information will be shared in the AGM Booklet on April 10, 2025.

Voting Process

AGM Booklet: The AGM Booklet with eligible candidates listed will be distributed via email on April 10 including information submitted by each candidate and voting instructions.

Taking the Booklet to Your Members: Member PACs and DPACs are encouraged to review the booklet with their members to gather feedback on the candidates before casting their votes.

Meet the Candidates: An event to meet the candidates will be held online prior to the AGM (date TBA).

Election Date: Elections will take place during the AGM on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the University of Northern BC in Prince George and online.

How to Vote: Eligible members will assign an individual a proxy to vote on their behalf via an online voting system, whether attending in person or online.
