Participation of Parents in Selection of Principals, Vice-Principals and Superintendents

That BCCPAC will urge the Ministry of Education and the BC School Trustees’ Association to develop a process which includes parents in the selection of Principals, Vice-Principals and Superintendents in each school district and that BCCPAC will assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure that fair and meaningful consultation with parents occurs before any such assignments or reassignments take place.
