Digital Payment Platform Support for PACs

Be it resolved that BCCPAC work with the Ministry of Education and Child Care to lobby the federal Minister of Finance and the Bank of Canada to establish a process for non-registered non-profit organizations (organizations that operate as non-profit societies and but not registered under the BC Societies Act, such as PACs and DPACs) whereby the organizations can utilize digital point of sale software as if they are a registered non-profit society, without incurring any personal tax liabilities.
