Comprehensive Bylaw Review by Legal Professional

Be it resolved that BCCPAC Board of Directors to engage the services of a lawyer specializing in not-for-profit and British Columbia Societies Act matters to:

1. Conduct a comprehensive review of BCCPAC’s existing bylaws. The review will seek to identify any inconsistencies, conflicts, enforceability or areas requiring clarification.
2. Compare and evaluate the bylaws against the BC Societies Act and its associated regulations; and
3. Propose recommended revisions or amendments for consideration by the Board and the membership at the 2026 Annual General Meeting, unless the nature of the changes necessitates convening a Special General Meeting prior to that time.
