Ensuring Access to Education is Available for all Children

Be it resolved that BCCPAC advocate to ensure the right to quality educational opportunities for all students while in MCFD care by making provision for students under Emergency Care status to have options available to maintain and keep current in their educational programming and learning with minimum interruption. Furthermore, should the student under Emergency Care be moved out of their home district, both the new and previous district work together to support the students’ learning and transition, keeping them connected and engaged in learning opportunities.
