Best Practices for Lunch Times

Be it resolved that BCCPAC advocate to the Ministry of Education to determine, establish and provide guidelines to BC school districts and schools that specify the structure and amount of time to be provided to elementary school children to eat lunch, and outlines appropriate levels of adult supervision for elementary school children at lunch time. These guidelines should focus on optimizing learning, behaviour management, nutrition and health outcomes for all BC students
