Protection for Parent Leaders

That BCCPAC urge the Ministry of Education to provide fair processes should individual parent, responsibly fulfilling their parent roles as mandated in the School Act and other legislations, come into conflict with school boards, trustees or school district employees; And that these processes include: Mandating the use of conflict resolution processes, including but not limited to, such processes as facilitated discussion, mediation, and arbitration; Legislation and or/policies and regulations to provide support and/or representation for parent leader volunteers in the event of possible legal action.
