The Evaluation of Teaching

That the BCCPAC endorse the concept of the evaluation of the total learning climate, teachers, course content and the classroom environment, by secondary school students; And that the Ministry of Education set up a mechanism through which representatives of the teachers, administrators, parents and students can produce a form or forms which would fairly evaluate the learning environment; And that the process would be carried out so that the anonymity of the students would be maintained. And that the results of these surveys would be made available in raw form only to the teachers themselves and administrators, while parents should have a summary of survey results; And that all students shall be given instruction in the responsibility and the accountability of the evaluation.
