Responsibility for the Care of School Children after an Emergency or Evacuation

That BCCPAC request a Ministerial Order, similar in concept to the BC Ministry of Education Anaphylaxis Protection Order, stating that the Ministry of Education and School Districts, as part of their emergency mitigation and response policies and plans, adopt the North American and province wide Incident Command System used by Emergency Services and government organizations to assign responsibility for the supervision and care of their students both during and after an emergency incident or disaster in their area and until such time as the students have been picked up by a parent, guardian or authorized adult.
