In 1994, the BCCPAC Board of Directors developed a District Associate (DA) program, to help assist the volunteer Board of Directors to connect with members across the province. The role supported BCCPAC with the collection and distribution of information between BCCPAC and members. The Board of Directors reviewed the DA Program by entering into lengthy discussions on the continued viability of the DA Program. In November 2007 the Board of Directors officially dissolve the BCCPAC District Associate (DA) Program. To read the letter to members alerting them to the disolution, click here. In some districts, this role became incorporated as an official position within the Constitution and Bylaws of councils. If the BCCPAC District Associate position is incorporated into your Constitution & Bylaws, please revisit your bylaws and make the appropriate amendments to reflect the decision of the Board to dissolve this program.
