The Parent Information Resource Coordinators

The purpose of the PIRC program was to improve and increase positive parent involvement in local and district parent advisory councils’. PIRCs were to source, interpret and distribute information and resources at a community level. Unfortunately due to a change in government funding priorities this program was canceled in early 2009 and the remaining funds were rolled into an operating grant.
