We invite member DPACs to join us for the 2019 Leadership Summit on Nov 15 & 16, 2019 at The Westin Wall Centre in Richmond, BC.

There is no cost to attend this event (as long as you have renewed your 2019-20 membership), but online registration is required by October 28, 2019 to secure your spot and your accommodations. Registrations received after this date cannot be guaranteed.

Registration for member DPACs includes:

  • Up to 2 delegates per District
  • 1 (one) hotel guest room (room & taxes only) for 2 nights (Nov 1 & 2) for Districts 5 – 34 and 46 – 92
  • 1 (one) hotel guest room (room & taxes only) for 1 night (Nov 2) for Districts 35 – 45
  • Catered meals (Nov 15: breakfast & lunch; Nov 16: breakfast & lunch)
  • Travel subsidies available for Districts 5 – 34 and 46 – 92
  • Parking at the hotel

Transportation to/from Vancouver Airport (YVR)

The Westin Wall Centre offers a complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and YVR Airport, between 3:30am and 11:30pm.

Local Amenities

Shopping, dining, and entertainment are only a short distance away from the hotel, in Richmond.  The hotel is within a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Vancouver and a 5 minute drive (or 20 minute walk) from the McArthurGlen Designer Outlets.



We are pleased to offer travel subsidies to assist DPAC representatives (must be current member), travelling a great distance from their district, to attend the 2019 DPAC Summit.

Travel Subsidies

Two (2) travel subsidies are available for DPACs, or their designated representative(s), from each eligible district.  If your district does not have an active DPAC, contact the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so we can assist with coordinating the subsidy for your district.

The following districts do not have a significant distance or expense to travel and therefore are not eligible to claim the travel subsidy, but will receive one night’s paid accommodation (room & taxes only) at the hotel:

District #35 - Langley District #39 - Vancouver District #43 - Coquitlam
District #36 - Surrey District #40 - New Westminster District #44 - North Vancouver
District #37 - Delta District #41 - Burnaby District #45 - West Vancouver
District #38 - Richmond District #42 - Maple Ridge / Pitt Meadows  

How to Apply

To apply for travel subsidy, submit the online Travel Subsidy Claim by December 13, 2019. Late applications will not be accepted.

Payments will be issued to the DPAC within 6-8 weeks of submission, unless other arrangements are made with BCCPAC, in advance.

Only the most economical travel arrangements will be reimbursed. For example, depending on airfare prices and distance, it may be more economical to fly to Vancouver than drive ... plan your trip carefully.

NOTE: The Westin Wall Centre offers a convenient and complimentary Airport Shuttle; therefore, taxi fares between the Hotel and Airport will not be reimbursed.

Eligible Travel Expenses include:

  • Airfare: Confirmation of booking must be uploaded with Claim.
  • Mileage: We will reimburse $0.50 per kilometre for the return trip between delegate’s home address and The Westin Wall Centre in Richmond, verified by Google Maps.
  • Ferries:  Receipts must be uploaded with Claim. We will only reimburse the vehicle fare and passenger fares for eligible delegates.
