Letter to Members: 2017-09-07 Welcome Back

September 7, 2017

Dear Parents,

As we begin the new school year, my thoughts are with the many families who are affected by the forest fires that have devastated parts of our province.  I am inspired by the community spirit we see as people come together to support one another.

BCCPAC is looking forward to a productive year of collaborating with our parents, PACs, DPACs and provincial partners to support student success.  It is our belief in community and in the power of working together that drives BCCPAC.

Together, we will strive to foster a culture of acceptance, diversity and inclusion in our schools.

This summer has presented BCCPAC with an abundance of emerging opportunities.  Over the next few weeks we will be sending our members brief updates on the progress made towards achieving BCCPAC’s strategic priorities (see attached).

We always welcome your input, and our team is available if you require support navigating through district policies and protocols as a parent, PAC or DPAC.  Please send us an email at info@bccpac.bc.ca or call us at 604-474-0524.

The board of directors brings complementary skills and diverse backgrounds to BCCPAC, and we look forward to supporting and advancing meaningful parent input this year.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
