BCCPAC Elects New Board of Directors
Members of the BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils re-elected President Kim Howland for a two-year term at their Annual General Meeting on May 6-7, 2006.
Parents expressed confidence in their Board by electing 6 incumbents and 3 new directors, some for a two-year term under a new electoral system instituted this year. They also said good-bye to First Vice-President Allison Flater of Cowichan Valley, Treasurer David Fowler of Coast Mountain, and Director Arnie Kidner of Kamloops.
“All of these parents are strong and experienced leaders, and I look forward to working with them,” said President Kim Howland. “Their combined skills, knowledge, and passion will bring new strength to our Board as we move into the second year of our three-year Vision Plan.
