Crystal Meth Education Program

In 2005 BCCPAC received $500,000 for a crystal meth education program. The grant was broken down into $300,000 for school districts for teacher training, $100,000 for train-the-trainer sessions for teachers, and $100,000 went for parent education on the dangers of crystal meth. BCCPAC created a granting system of up to $1,000 for DPACs to host education sessions for parents at their school or district on Crystal Meth Awareness. The program was canceled in 2009 due to a change in government funding priorities with the remaining funds rolled into an operating grant.
